Global solutions for a water-resilient future
The connection between water and our daily lives means that the consequences of climate change will be experienced by most people through the medium of water. Further pressures on ever-increasingly exploited water resources come from population growth, economic expansion and inadequate infrastructure. Without better water management globally, people will continue to experience environmental degradation, resulting in greater pollution and increasing groundwater depletion, which, left unchecked, will ultimately make parts of the environment uninhabitable.
With decades of water experience across 40 countries, incorporating over 5000 water specialists, we understand water. Our ethos relies on teamwork and partnership; we work with people and cutting-edge technology, and we deploy innovative solutions ready to sustainably address water issues globally. A diverse group of water businesses used to collaboration: we combine the expertise of industry leaders and local champions to deliver sustainable solutions.

Navigating SDG 6 and the decade of change for clean water and sanitation
Africa faces a severe water crisis marked by scarcity, contamination and unequal access. Its rapidly increasing population means the demand for clean water outpaces supply, while insufficient infrastructure hinders the distribution of safe water and sanitation, affecting millions. Climate change intensifies the crisis with erratic rainfall and droughts, with women and children often enduring long journeys for water, impacting education and economic opportunities.

Spain can help the rest of Europe learn how to tackle the water crisis
While Europe is often considered water rich, it grapples with a multifaceted water management crisis. Climate change disrupts traditional water patterns, while pollution from agriculture, industry and urban areas contaminates waterbodies, jeopardising ecosystems and human health. Collaborative efforts to improve water quality, to modernise infrastructure and to enhance water governance are essential to address Europe’s water crisis effectively.

Tackling the storm overflows challenge: First, we need a rethink on water
The United Kingdom faces a unique water crisis. Prolonged dry spells, exacerbated by climate change, lead to water scarcity, especially in the south-east. Furthermore, seasonal flooding in parts of the country poses a contrasting water management challenge. Inadequate investment over many decades has led to ageing infrastructure, leaky pipelines and increased demand on water supply systems.
