Agriculture starts with responsibility.

Raising livestock teaches lessons that can't always be learned from a textbook.

The TUNAI4D brings together youth exhibitors, families, agricultural supporters and communities from across Washington.

Long before an exhibitor enters the show ring, the real work has already begun. Livestock projects require months of feeding, daily care, training, observation, financial planning and record keeping.

Through these projects, young people gain practical experience in animal husbandry while developing responsibility, confidence, communication skills and an understanding of agricultural economics.

The show is where that work comes together — and where a new generation of agricultural leaders gets the opportunity to demonstrate what they've learned.
